Group Scent Classes (THIS IS A 4 WEEK COURSE) Sniffing, searching and finding is naturally highly rewarding for dogs. Nervous dogs increase in confidence, and anxious or overly excited dogs become calm and focused. Dogs who are normally highly distracted by the environment learn to search with no loss of attention and dogs often fall into a deep state of relaxation afterwards. You and your dog will work together as a team to supercharge your bond and connection. Plus – it’s just plain fun and dogs love it! You will continue the 2 kinds of Scentwork in this 1.0 course, or develop either your dogs passive or active search (depending on what your dog most enjoys). Learn in a highly supportive class environment then take your new skills home with you for everyday fun, focus and calm! YOU’LL GET 4 x 45 minute classes with a small group of dogs under the expert guidance of a scentwork instructor. This course will develop two styles of searching to see how far your dog can go in both Active and Passive searches. You will also be able to ask your instructor questions any time or ask for feedback or advice in between sessions. PLUS! Upon completion of the course you will receive a rosette and have the option to continue your scentwork journey with one of our follow up courses or workshops! All classes must be paid for in full to secure your place and a refund will not be given for cancellations. We may offer you a place on the next block if possible and only offer a partial refund in exceptional circumstances. Classes will go ahead in all weathers unless access to the venue is disrupted.
